Description
This study investigated sulfuric acid anodizing followed by electrolytic coloring as a surface treatment to produce functional coatings for electromagnetic radiation absorption. The primary objective was to evaluate the technique's efficiency in developing high-performance sensor elements for integration into radiometric systems. The methodology involved the physicochemical, optical, and functional characterization of the coatings. The investigation addressed spectral response across different electromagnetic spectrum ranges, absorption efficiency, as well as operational stability and degradation resistance. The results demonstrate that achieving high absorptance is crucial to optimizing the signal-to-noise ratio and enhancing the precision of radiometric measurements. Ultimately, this study evaluated technical guidelines for selecting and optimizing anodizing process parameters, providing a scientific foundation to advance radiation measurement technologies for applications in real-time environmental monitoring, atmospheric composition analysis, optical instrument calibration, and solar energy conversion systems.
