Description
Carroll symmetries have recently emerged in a broad range of areas, from flat-space holography and gravitational physics to hydrodynamics and condensed matter physics. In this talk, I will introduce the Carroll group and some of its aspects before discussing several field-theoretic applications, with a particular focus on the geometric structures underlying flat-space holography
