We are able to cover all costs of participation for researchers in particle physics from the UK, and all costs apart from air travel for researchers in particle physics from Europe.
In this context, "researchers" includes PhD students, postdocs, and academics. If you are an undergraduate or master's student undertaking a project in particle physics, please ask your project supervisor to send a letter of support endorsing your participation.
Support includes:
- Transport—please see the Travel and accommodation page for details
- Accommodation at Swansea University: this is pre-paid
- Meals at the school: these are pre-paid
- Meals while en-route to the school
For any items not pre-paid, please keep receipts so that we can reimburse you after the school. More details will be given during the event.
If you have additional requirements that would form a barrier to participation, please let us know and we can try to support. For example, if you have dependents who need care in your absence, or if you need non-standard travel arrangements (e.g. a taxi) due to disability, we may be able to fund this.
