Accomodation
The workshop will be held at Fuji Calm, located at the foot of Mt. Fuji:

On-site accommodation:
Fuji Calm also provides accommodation. However, rooms are generally shared with other participants and are not intended for single occupancy.
If this arrangement is acceptable to you, please select this option during registration.
Since the number of rooms is limited, rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who wish to stay at Fuji Calm are therefore encouraged to complete their registration as early as possible.
Off-site hotel accommodation:
Alternatively, if you prefer to stay in a private room, you may make your own hotel reservation. Since the workshop takes place during the Mt. Fuji climbing season, we strongly recommend that you book your accommodation as early as possible.
Below are some possible hotel options. There are also other hotels in the area, from which you can reach the venue either on foot or by public transportation, mainly by bus.
Please note that even if you stay at a hotel outside Fuji Calm, you will still be able to have dinner with us at the center at a reasonable cost and then easily join any evening activities, such as scientific discussions and informal social gatherings. If you would like to have dinner at Fuji Calm, please select this option during registration.
Possible hotel options:
1. OSHI-KIKUYA Mt-Fuji Historic Inn
One of the closest hotels, located within about a 15-minute walk from the venue.
Another nearby option, located within about a 20-minute walk.
There are also several hotels around Fujisan Station, the closest station to Fuji Calm.
Fujisan Station is about a 30-minute walk from Fuji Calm.
Please note that the route includes a slight uphill walk, as one might expect near Mt. Fuji.
In addition to the hotels listed above, you can find other accommodation options around the venue through standard travel booking websites. There are also many hotels from which the venue can be reached by public bus.
