Description

Canadian institutes have been involved in multiple aspects of the ATLAS detector's upgrades for the High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider. During several years of schedule delays, Canadian institutes were at the forefront of investigations into technical and logistical issues, contributing greatly to their solution and to the success of the overall project.

This contribution presents selected examples of Canada's role in the ongoing upgrades of the ATLAS detector and lessons to be learned for future Collider projects.
