The Sheffield University Ultra-Low Temperature Facility houses a 8.5mK base temperature dilution refrigerator equipped with an 8T magnet.
The facility is currently used for the Quantum Sensors for the Hidden Sector (QSHS) axion search experiment, a new facility aiming at the axion mass window between 16 and 32 micro electron volts.
We will be happy to give tours of the lab to conference attendees, but can only accommodate 20 people at a time.
Tours will be on the afternoon of Wednesday 24th June, and arrangements will be announced during the meeting.
