As an international visitor to the University of Sydney, you must hold an appropriate and valid visa.
We recommend visitors to check with their closest Australian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate for visa recommendations if they are applying independently. The Australian Immigration law restricts individuals from providing visa advice or options unless you are a registered migration agent or lawyer. Please ensure that you are issued with the correct visa. You may need to present the letter of invitation when applying for your visa.
Important note: We recommend not to confirm any booked flights until the visa is granted.

If you require a letter for visa purposes, please email the organising committee with the following details. Contact our office as soon as possible to arrange this.

Please note the WOMBAT committee is not able to contact Australian embassies in support of a visa application for the purpose of attending WOMBAT conference. If your visa is delayed or denied, please contact the consulate where your application is being processed.
