Your eligibility to apply online or submit a paper-based application depends on the passport you hold.
Based on your eligibility, you may be able to apply for one of the following visa types:

If you intend to travel to Australia to attend a business event—such as a conference, trade fair, seminar, or expo—and you are not receiving payment from the event organisers for your participation, you may be eligible for Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) (subclass 601), eVisitor visa (subclass 651), and Visitor visa (Business Stream) (subclass 600).

The WOMBAT committee is not able to contact Australian embassies in support of an individual attempting to gain entry into the host country to attend the conference. If your visa is delayed or denied, please contact the consulate where your application is being processed.
