Flights and Getting to Campus

 

For travel into Los Angeles by plane, we recommend flying into LAX. From there public transit is not the best, so arranging for a rideshare like Uber or a shuttle to transport you from the airport to campus or your hotel is recommended. There is a free shuttle from every terminal to the Uber/Lyft pickup area run through LAX-it

UCLA Child Care Resource Program: The UCLA Early Care and Education website provides valuable child care resources. It includes information about on-campus child care centers and offers referral services for child care in the local community.

Connections for Children: This website allows you to search licensed child care programs in Santa Monica and Westwood communities.

Los Angeles County Public Social Services – Child Care: Child care information and resources directory in Los Angeles County. The website also offers an extensive checklist that may be helpful.

Peachhead Families: This is an online parents’ community supporting and connecting families in the Los Angeles area. By joining Peachhead you can exchange emails, questions and answers about the topics of your interest, including finding suitable child care for your child.
