Nearest metro station is "Delta" on line 5. If you stay downtown you can take this direct metro line at the Sainte-Catherine, De Brouckere, Gare Centrale, Parc and Arts-Loi stations, direction "Hermann-Debroux" (be careful not to take on the same platform the metro line 1, direction Stockel). To get to the campus from the Delta metro station exit the station through exit 2 "Campus ULB/VUB" and from the exit always go straight (for 500 meters) until the workshop "N.O. building" is on your left. There are outdoor maps of the campus along this way.
From the Airports to the conference venue:
From the Brussels National Airport (Zaventem, Brussels), you can take the Brussels Airport Express train. The airport train station is located below the terminal (basement level-1). The train stops at GARE CENTRALE (one-way ticket costs €9.30). From there take the metro line 5 (direction Herrmann-Debroux and stop at the station Delta). From the airport, you can also take various trains stopping at "Bruxelles Schumann" train station, which is also a metro station on line 5 (direct to ULB, direction Hermann-Debroux).
From Brussels South Charleroi Airport (Charleroi, CLR), you can take the Brussels City Shuttle to GARE DU MIDI (1 hour, one-way ticket).
From GARE DU MIDI (MIDI STATION): Take the metro line 2 or 6 (direction Simonis (Elisabeth)), change at station Arts-Loi and then take line 5 (direction Herrmann-Debroux) and stop at Delta.
