    First 2026 IUPAP survey. Input from physical societies.

    Description

    Within the process of IUPAP's rejuvenation, we would like to advance along several lines. To this end, we are seeking input from the physical societies within the territories of IUPAP members on various issues as listed below. 

    The Liaison Committees of some of our members are Academies of Science. In such a case we kindly ask our members to forward this survey to the physical society in their respective territory to fill it out. The purpose of the first question is to collect the contact information on the physical societies. The other questions address the following issues:

    -Current efforts on physics education that the physical societies are involved with. 

    -Networking or similar efforts to engage early career physicists that the physical societies are involved with.

    -Viability of an IUPAP Commission on Quantum Technologies (the answer to this question should be coordinated with the IUPAP Liaison Committee for the territory).
