Information about registration
We have booked hotel rooms in Les Diablerets at preferential prices for conference attendees. We have a limited number of rooms; rooms will be allocated first-come, first-served. Registration will close on July 15.
Please register early, and consider sharing a room!
Call for contributions Contributions can be submitted directly through the links below (details in the forms), with a deadline on June 4 :
Conference Costs (with full lodging and meals – all-inclusive!)
Fees include four nights accommodation, three meals per day (starting with dinner on day 1 and ending with lunch on day 4), coffee breaks, social activity, and special dinner atop the glacier.
- 977 Swiss Francs (if you are affiliated with an institution), single room
- 829 Swiss Francs (if you are affiliated with an institution), shared room with another conference registrant, per person
- 887 Swiss Francs (independent/unaffiliated and students), single room
- 737 Swiss Francs, (independent/unaffiliated and students), shared room with another conference registrant, per person
If you are willing to share a room to take advantage of the reduced fee and do not have a partner, please let us know.
Hardship: please contact us if you would like to attend but have a financial hardship. Limited support may be available.

- Lightning talks by participants
- Panels on funding and accessibility
- Glacier walk and dinner on top of the Glacier
- Award ceremony for the first winner of the EMS Simon Norton Prize for Mathematics Outreach
- Masterclasses and co-creation workshops

Math Festival in Geneva
If you're traveling through Geneva, consider joining us for the second edition of the Mathematics Festival Math'émerveille !
It will take place right after the conference, on September 5 (holiday in Geneva), in the beautiful location of the park La Perle du Lac, right by the lake.
If you're showcasing something at MATRIX x IMAGINARY, bring it to the festival as well ! We'll give you a booth and a free night in the city if you stay until Friday 6. Students will be present to help with translation if needed, plus your contribution will be woven into an awesome math treasure hunt.
