Deadline 15th of November 2024
Documenting the state of the art is an important part of this workshop, we therefore expect the speakers to contribute to proceedings. They will be published as a CERN Report, therefore have to fulfil some requirements. To make the processing as simple as possible and to avoid delays, please follow some rules.
• Contributions prepared in formats other than Latex will be ignored
• Source files of text (.tex) and figures are required
• Overleaf will be used to prepare the proceedings and processed using pdf latex. An empty overleaf template is available at https://www.overleaf.com/read/mcqdngcqspvk#7eaddc
. You may simply duplicate this template and edit the body in 'Mytext.tex'. More didactic explanations are available in the closing slides.
If you do not wish to use overleaf, a template with the .cls and Latex preamble is available for download together with a few examples.
• In terms of technicalities:
- Use section∗, subsection∗ etc. to structure your text
- Use standard conventions for formulas and references
- Use includegraphics for figures. They can be provided as .png .eps formats. Please use f igure, label, caption. Ditto for tables.
- For labels (e.g. figures, equations, bibitems, ) use unique name, e.g. using the abstract ID (see book of abstracts)
- References should be produced via thebibliography and bibitem (do not use biblatex for this document class).
• To make it as simple as posssible, either share with use your overleaf link or provide the body of your text (i.e. sections etc., without the Latex preambles) and separate figures, ideally as a .zip file.
