National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman. The theme of this year is “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”. The Department of Physics at Central University of Karnataka will host and coordinate this event this year.
