Description
India has come a long way since 75 years of Independence and has achieved eminence as a Nation with strong Science and Technology (S&T) components. India’s position has shifted to third in overall global output of research publications in S&T. But complacence at this stage or even comforting nostalgia regarding its past achievements alone will jeopardize further achievement. In this talk, I will share my thoughts on a few key areas that I feel India must give prominence to continue to achieve further heights in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics areas.
