1) There is a pre-booking of about 40 rooms in Hotel Surya. This hotel is located between the conference venue and the city center. Walking time between the conference venue and Hotel Surya is about 30 minutes.
The price including breakfast agreed for the participants to the 9th edition of the MPI@LHC workshop is INR 2650 + Taxes ~18%. Most of the rooms are with twin beds. Please arrange your own booking directly with the hotel specifying the conference code “MPI17”. Mentioned discounts are applicable if hotel booking is made by 30th October 2017.
Hotel will require an advance of 1 night to confirm the booking. Hotel is not accepting credit card information for booking because of recent monetary changes in the Country. If participant want to avoid multiple transaction charges, organizer can make payment of this advance while participant can transfer this amount to conference account along with the registration fee. Participant who wants to avail this option, please send detail to conference email ID.
2) About 10 rooms in the Panjab University and Himachal Pradesh University Guest houses are also pre-booked. Room will be available on the sharing basis; it is a good option for students. Rooms are limited therefore they will be assigned with a first-coming-first-served criterion. Request for reservations in the guest-house can be communicated sending an email to mpiatlhc2017@gmail.com by October 30, 2017.

Please notice that there are plenty of other hotels in the city. Participant can also look for alternative accommodation depending on their preferred location, budget and luxury.
