Summary
In the SM prediction of the muon anomalous magnetic moment hadronic contributions are dominating the error budget and their complete
calculation from first principles is still missing.
The last years have however seen a substantial surge in efforts to compute hadronic effects contributing to the muon anomalous magnetic moment in Lattice QFT.
I will discuss the progress that has been made and also the steps that will be taken next for the leading hadronic contribution. Time permitting I will
also discuss efforts for the computation of the hadronic light-by-light contribution.
