Description

ZEPLIN-III is a position-sensitive liquid xenon time projection chamber which is currently collecting data in a deep underground laboratory at Boulby in North Yorkshire, UK. It's science goal is the direct detection of Galactic dark matter particles and it is specifically designed to be sensitive to neutralinos predicted by supersymmetry. We will present results on instrument performance including energy resolution, position reconstruction and particle species identification.
