Liquid Argon is used in dark matter detectors, it’s biggest issue is the Argon 39 that exists inside liquid Argon.The Ar2D2 detector is going to responsible for detecting the Argon 39, to be as accurate as possible the detector also needs to be aware of the backgrounds.
