How to get to Cambridge

Cambridge is a well connected city in England. It has very good connections with London train stations and airports. 

  • Stansted Airport:
    • It is between half-an-hour and 45 minutes away from Cambridge by train.
    • The first train from Cambridge is at 04:44. The last train from Cambridge departs at 22:50. 
    • The first train to Cambridge is at 05:27. The last train to Cambridge departs at 23:59.
    • The price is around £16.
  • Gatwick Airport: 
    • It takes around 2 hours.
    • The first train from Cambridge is at 03:53. The last train from Cambridge departs at 21:54. 
    • The first train to Cambridge is at 04:46. The last train to Cambridge departs at 22:48.
    • The price is around £20.

Another option is to go from London King's Cross station or London Liverpool street:

How to get to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences

  • By foot: Cambridge is quite a beautiful city and the foot path to the Centre for Mathematical Sciences is a nice 30 minutes from the city centre. 
  • By Bus: There is are two buses connecting the train station and the CMS, the U and the X3 buses. The One-Way fare is £1.70-£2.
