Air and Train

If flying internationally into Heathrow airport or Stansted, taking either train or taxi is suggested.

From Heathrow the express train to Paddington station followed by a tube ride to King's Cross station and a direct train (King's Lynn or Ely) to Cambridge station is the most rapid route. Mobile apps such as Trainline make train travel much easier in the UK.

One may also choose to taxi from the airport to Cambridge ~ £120 with a 1.5 hr duration.

There are several taxi companies registered in Cambridge, and taxi ranks at the station and St Andrew's Street. Panther taxis are reliable and have a useful mobile app.
