This study specifically examined the extent increase in Pension fund investment contribute to Economic growth (GDP) in Nigeria, the extent investment in corporate bonds improve economic well-being of retirees and how death of investment instruments affects the life of retirees in Nigeria. Anchored on traditional theory of financial intermediary, the study used partial correlation to know the influence of the dependent variable. With this econometric equation: GDP = β0 + β1PFI +β2CORB +β3EQUI + β4MONI + β5REI +µt, and using the Coefficients: →RGDP = 1.871 +0.380GSI +0.24 +.10CBI + 0.28EQI + 0.22REI, the regression results revealed that though pension fund investments have strong growth-enhancing potential, their effectiveness depend largely on the level of financial market development, regulatory environment and investment diversification strategies. Inline with this findings, the paper proposed that Pension Fund Administrators should diversify their investment portfolio’s beyond government securities into more productive sectors such as infrastructure, private equity and corporate financing, regulatory authorities should implement policies aimed at strengthening the corporate bond market. Including encouraging regulatory bodies to create enabling frameworks that will encourage pension funds Administrators (PFA’s) to invest more in infrastructure projects such as transportation, energy and housing. This will help address Nigeria infrastructure deficit and stimulate economic growth
