Track: Inclusion, Equity and Digital Access

Computers, smartphones, internet tools, and online libraries are changing the way students learn all over Africa. Today, studying History is no longer just about reading old paper books or listening to classroom lectures. Modern History students need to look at old historical records online, read electronic books (e-books), search through digital museum collections, and read international research articles on the web to fully understand the past. However, not every student has the same chance to use these digital tools. This study wants to find out if having easy access to these internet learning tools helps History students at the Federal College of Education (FCE), Jama’are, get better grades in school.
