Tittle: Mobile Learning: A Tool for Bridging the Digital Divide among Biology Students in State and Federal Colleges of Education in Central Nigeria.

Abstract: This paper examines mobile learning as a tool for bridging the digital divide among Biology students in State and Federal Colleges of Education in Central Nigeria. The study discusses the growing importance of mobile technologies in teacher education and explores how smartphones, tablets, and internet-enabled devices can improve access to educational resources. Differences in digital access, infrastructure, connectivity, and technological skills between institutions and learners continue to create educational inequalities. Through a review of relevant literature and theoretical perspectives, the paper highlights the role of mobile learning in enhancing access, engagement, collaboration, and academic achievement among Biology students. The paper concludes that effective adoption of mobile learning can significantly reduce educational disparities and recommends policy interventions, infrastructure development, and capacity-building programmes for lecturers and students.
