Track: AI, Emerging Technologies and Future Learning

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into education is transforming curriculum development, teaching methods, assessment systems, and learner engagement across the world. While AI technologies offer significant opportunities for personalized learning, accessibility, and educational efficiency, they also present challenges related to equity, bias, exclusion, and digital inequality. This paper explores the development of inclusive curriculum in the AI era for diverse learners. Drawing on frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, and culturally responsive pedagogy, the paper argues that inclusive curriculum must intentionally address learner diversity from the beginning of the design process. The discussion examines the role of AI in supporting learners with different abilities, languages, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds while also highlighting ethical concerns such as algorithmic bias, privacy, and overdependence on automated systems. In addition, the paper presents practical strategies for curriculum design, assessment, and teacher preparation in AI-enhanced learning environments. The study concludes that inclusive curriculum development in the AI era requires a balance between technological innovation and human-centered educational values. Educators, policymakers, and curriculum developers must ensure that AI serves as a tool for equity and empowerment rather than exclusion.
