In order to achieve fluency faster and more interactive by providing real-time pronunciation feedback, customized vocabulary drills, and judgment-free conversation practice, AI-Powered Language Assistants could be effectively used. These tools adapt to a specific proficiency level, allowing you to learn naturally rather than relying solely on repetitive, one-size-fits-all textbooks The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational frameworks has revolutionized language acquisition methodologies. This study investigates the efficacy of AI-powered chatbots in delivering personalized language learning experiences specifically for learners of the Hausa language. Utilizing a mixed-methods research design, we conducted qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys with participants who engaged with AI chatbots over a six-month period. The findings reveal that features such as personalized feedback, adaptive learning trajectories, and opportunities for conversational practice substantially enhance learner engagement, retention, and overall language proficiency. This research contributes to the growing discourse on language learning technologies and underscores the transformative potential of AI chatbots in promoting the education of minority languages.
