Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force in education, creating opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation in teacher education institutions. This paper examines the role of AI-driven edupreneurship in advancing digital transformation in Nigerian Colleges of Education and its potential to bridge the digital divide while promoting a future-ready teacher education ecosystem. Despite ongoing modernization efforts, many Colleges of Education continue to face challenges such as inadequate digital infrastructure, limited funding, outdated curricula, low technology adoption, and insufficient digital competencies among educators and student-teachers. These challenges hinder effective teaching and learning and limit institutional responsiveness to the demands of the digital age. The paper explores how AI-driven edupreneurial initiatives can facilitate institutional transformation through intelligent tutoring systems, personalized learning platforms, automated administrative processes, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making tools. These innovations can improve educational quality, enhance efficiency, expand access to learning opportunities, and promote inclusive education. The study further emphasizes the need for curriculum reforms that integrate AI literacy, digital pedagogy, computational thinking, and entrepreneurial skills into teacher education programmes. Continuous professional development is also identified as essential for equipping educators with the competencies required for effective technology integration. Furthermore, the paper highlights the importance of supportive policies, strategic partnerships, and investment in digital infrastructure to ensure ethical, equitable, and sustainable AI adoption. It concludes that AI-driven edupreneurship provides a practical pathway for transforming Nigerian Colleges of Education into innovative and future-ready institutions capable of preparing teachers for the twenty-first-century digital economy.
