Track: AI, Emerging Technologies and Future Learning

This study explores the role of digital learning initiatives in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable resource management in Northern Nigeria. With increasing environmental challenges such as desertification, deforestation, climate change, and water scarcity, digital platforms offer innovative avenues for environmental education and public engagement. The research examines how digital learning tools, including e-learning platforms, mobile applications, and social media, enhance environmental knowledge, influence attitudes, and encourage sustainable resource-use practices among learners and communities. It also investigates challenges affecting their effectiveness, such as limited internet access, inadequate infrastructure, and low digital literacy levels. The study aims to provide insights into the potential of digital technologies to strengthen environmental education and support sustainable development efforts in Northern Nigeria. Findings are expected to inform policymakers and educators on strategies for integrating digital learning into environmental awareness and resource management programs.
