The recent revolution in tertiary education is revamping pedagogy and student’s self-development for a secured future. This paper examines the role of digital technology and entrepreneurial education to enhance academic performance and standard of living. The study was conducted using a mixed-methods approach which involved reviewing relevant literature and research questionnaire to elicit information from participants. Data was randomly collected from a population of 500 lecturers and 2000 students in tertiary institution in Nigeria. Data was analyzed using frequency, mean, standard deviation and descriptive statistics. The result showed that digital devices and internet enhanced pedagogy. Also, findings reveal the extent to which entrepreneurship-oriented curriculum and knowledge of digital technology equips the learner with practical skills, creative and innovative mindset for sustainable self-development within and beyond academic institutions. It recommends that lecturers and students should be trained and provided with necessary technological gadgets. Entrepreneurship development centres should be provided in higher education institutions.
