Effect of Digital Transformation and Innovation on Academic Research and Development in Nigeria Colleges of Education
Abstract
Incorporating research and development into college system has made it a turning point in institutional achievement and global identification. The study examined the impact of research and development in showcasing college digital transformation and innovation among 200 public college of education academics randomly selected from the selected public colleges of education in South West region during the academic session 2024-2025. The study explored a descriptive correlational survey. Data was collected through research-made questionnaires and were statistically analysed utilising Mean and Standard Deviation, Pearson Product Correlation Coefficient and Regression Analysis. Result showed a very high grade of academic digital transformation, a very high grade of academic innovation, and a very high grade of research and development in public colleges of education. There is a significant relationship between academic digital transformation, academic innovation and as well as research and development. Research. Incorporating research in teaching and data -driven decision -making were observed to be predictors of academic digital transformation.
