Track: Digital Pedagogy and Teaching Innovation

Digital technologies are rapidly dominating the life of man. The report of Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Index 2025 highlights a continuous rise both in AI global use and investment in it with 26% growth, the quantum investment of which was more than $252.3bn by the private sector within the year. Against the background of the exponential rise in the acceptability and utilization of digital technologies in all facets of life, the paper re-examines the concept of creation and its philosophy relative to the invention and utilization of digital technology in general. Situating the discussion in religio-ethical context, a critique of AI digital transformation within the realm of permissibility of its production and use of human-like objects was made. The paper, in historical context, further critically assessed the implication of the algorithm driving AI digital systems, to which it recommends religio-ethically compliant system as imperative in determining appropriate framework for the production and utilization of digital technologies which rapidly drives the contemporary world.
