Track: Digital Pedagogy and Teaching Innovation

The integration of digital innovation into education has significantly transformed technology and learning process, thereby creating opportunities for the advancement of learner-centered pedagogy. Learner-centered pedagogy emphasises active student participation, collaboration, critical thinking, creating a personalized learning experience. Digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), learning management system, mobile learning applications, virtual learning environments and educational, analytics provide tools that support these pedagogical principles by enabling flexible, interactive and individualized learning. This paper examines how digital innovation enhances learner-centered teaching and learning practices, highlighting its role in promoting student engagement, autonomy and knowledge construction. It further discuss the benefits of technology-enable learning, including improved accessibility, personalized instruction, real-time feedback and collaborative learning opportunities. Inspite of these advantages, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, digital inequalities, limited teacher preparedness and concerns about data privacy remain significant barriers to effective implementation. This paper argues that successful integration of digital innovation required strategic investment in technological infrastructure, continuous professional development for educators, and policies that promote equitable access to digital resources. Ultimately, advancing learner-centered pedagogy through digital innovation has the potential of creating more inclusive, effective and future-oriented educational system that will equip learners with the competencies required for success transition to the digital age.
