Track: Digital Pedagogy and Teaching Innovation

The rapid development of digital technologies is changing educational practices worldwide and creating new opportunities to implement learner-centred pedagogies. Learner-centred teaching emphasises active participation, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and personalised learning. Digital innovation enhances these methods by offering flexible learning environments, interactive content, real-time feedback, and broader access to educational resources. This paper investigates the role of digital innovation in fostering learner-centred pedagogies. The study employed a descriptive approach, drawing on a thorough review of existing literature on educational technology, learner-centred instruction, and digital transformation in education. The study demonstrates that digital innovations such as learning management systems, virtual classrooms, mobile learning applications, artificial intelligence and collaborative technologies have the potential to boost learner engagement and academic performance. This study provides practical recommendations for institution authorities, policymakers, and educators to support the effective implementation of learner-centred digital learning environments and existing trends.
