This study investigates the adoption and effectiveness of blended learning management systems (LMS) in public colleges of Education in Anambra state, Nigeria. With the increasing demand for flexible and technology driven instructional methods, blended learning strategies has emerged as a viable approach to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. The research employed a survey research design, with the use of a structured questionnaire to elicit information from population of 1,423 lecturers in the two public Colleges of Education domiciled in Anambra state. The data obtained were analyzed using mean and standard deviation on a four point Likert scale, while the null hypothesis was tested using T-test. From the findings it was observed that while awareness and usage of LMS platforms such as ZOOM, Google classroom, Blackboard are growing with average mean acceptance value of 3.87 and also the government at various levels are making commendable efforts towards trainings and orientation of educators on the use and application of the LMS platforms, however adoption and integration of the modern technology is limited due to several challenges which include infrastructural limitations, poor internet connectivity and access, inadequate funding. Nevertheless, respondents reported improved student engagement, adequate technical knowhow, improved collaboration and higher academic achievement when LMS were adequately integrated with a grand mean of 3.38. The study concluded that blended learning systems hold significant potential for transforming higher education in Anambra state and improving student participation and academic achievement. The study recommended targeted capacity building programs, improved ICT infrastructure and financial support for lecturers and students to sustain blended learning strategies in Nigeria.
