Call for Abstracts

The submission period is open until the submission deadline.

The call for abstracts opens on the 7th September and closes on the 31st October.

  • Secure Places: Healthy Communities in an Uncertain World (Health in Living Contexts: Urban & Rural Health)

  • Secure Planet: Health within Resilient Ecosystems (Sustainability & Biodiversity)

  • Secure Societies: Preparedness for Shocks and Crises (Resilience & Disaster Preparedness)

  • Secure Technologies: Trust, AI and Health in the Digital Age (Digital Health, AI & Medical Technology)

  • Annual Student Research Conference


Presentation formats

  • Poster:

For poster presentations, please prepare and print a poster in A0 size. Posters will be displayed during the poster session on the assigned boards as well as during coffee and lunch breaks.

  • Talk:

This format will consist of a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.

  • Workshop

Workshops are interactive sessions designed to actively engage participants through hands-on activities, collaborative tasks, and practical demonstrations. Format: 60 or 90 minutes (allocated by the organisers). Expectation: High level of participant involvement and practical engagement.


Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit an abstract of up to 300 words.

Authors can add multiple co-authors but must assign at least one speaker (maximum 3). You can enter co-authors manually, but make sure to include the First Name, Family Name, Affiliation (University) and Email of all co-authors.

Authors must indicate their preferred conference theme and the presentation format (talk, poster or workshop); however, the final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee based on the overall programme balance.
