Sumra Khan is doing PhD at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University. Her research focuses on Responsible AI and Medical Imaging, with an interest in developing trustworthy, explainable, and reliable AI solutions for healthcare. 

Saad Bin Saeed Ahmed

PhD Student - Florida Atlantic University

Saad is a PhD Student in the Department of Physics at Florida Atlantic University, with research interests in radiomics-assisted prediction models in radiation oncology and the modeling and validation of plastic scintillator detectors in proton beam therapy. For the last 3 years, associated with the South Florida Proton Institute as a Physics Assistant.

Abdullah Hidayat

PhD Student - Florida Atlantic University

Abdullah is PhD researcher in Medical Physics (CAMPEP-accredited) at Florida Atlantic University, with an MS in Medical Physics. My research builds AI models to predict head and neck cancer risk, combining two large U.S. health datasets (PLCO and NHIS) with neural networks to identify high-risk individuals earlier. Interested in connecting with others working across medical physics, oncology, and machine learning.

Yamna Siddiqi

MSc in Applied Physics (Medical Physics) – University of Bologna

Yamna completed her master’s in Applied Physics with a Medical Physics curriculum at the University of Bologna, graduating in 2026. Her thesis, carried out at Sant’Orsola University Hospital, focused on medical physics research.

Muhammad Hamza Abbasi

PhD Student - Florida Atlantic University

Hamza is a PhD student in physics and an MS student in medical physics at Florida Atlantic University . His research builds Bayesian digital twins of tumors from longitudinal MRI, calibrating patient-specific models to predict radiation response in cervical cancer and inform adaptive treatment.

Areej Khan

MS Student - Ned University

Areej is currently pursuing her Master’s in Medical Physics at NED University of Engineering & Technology, with a strong aspiration to build a career as a medical physicist. Her research interests focus on 3D computational simulation and analysis of breast tumors, with an emphasis on applying computational and physics-based approaches to medical applications.

Labiqua Shayyan

Trainee Medical Physicist - Aga Khan University Hospital

Labiqua is currently working as a Trainee Medical Physicist at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. She completed her MS in Medical Physics in June 2026, with her research focused on the "Investigation of photoneutron spectrum from a 15 MV medical linear accelerator using Monte Carlo simulation.

Shahzaib Abbas

MS Student - Erasmus Mundus IMAPP Program

Shahzaib Abbas is a Gold Medalist. His current research interests lie at the intersection of AI and physics. He is also eager to explore the applications of AI in advancing medical imaging and radiation-based healthcare technologies.

Duryab Nasir

Senior Medical Physicist - Kiran Hopsital

Duryab Nasir is a Senior Scientist in Medical Physics at Kiran Hospital, with an MS in Medical Physics from PIEAS and a background in Physics from the University of Karachi. A double gold medalist and recipient of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Fellowship and IAEA Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme.

Jamshaid Akhtar 

Medical Physicist - KIRAN Hospital

Jamshaid Akhtar is a Medical physicist with an M.S. in Medical Physics from PIEAS and over two years of clinical experience. His work focuses on quality assurance, equipment commissioning, and radiotherapy physics, with research interests in AI-based medical imaging, beam model validation, and comparative dosimetric studies.

Syeda Samia Fatima

MS student - NED University

Samia is currently pursuing an MS in Medical Physics, with a strong interest in radiation therapy, medical dosimetry, and Monte Carlo simulations. Her current  research focuses on the comparative analysis of variable RBE models in proton therapy using Monte Carlo simulations.
