Unacceptable behaviour includes:
- Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or personal attacks.
- Discrimination, derogatory remarks, or offensive stereotyping.
- Unwelcome sexual comments, attention, or advances.
- Unwanted physical contact or disregard for another person’s personal boundaries.
- Aggressive, threatening, or disruptive conduct.
- Political campaigning or propaganda, including using conference activities to promote or oppose political groups or positions.
Scientific debate and disagreement are encouraged. Discussions should however focus on evidence and ideas, with criticism directed at scientific arguments rather than individuals.
This code applies to all conference activities, including talks, poster sessions, receptions, social events, and informal gatherings associated with the meeting.
If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour, please contact a member of the Local Organising Committee. Reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion. Information will be shared only as necessary to address the concern. Organisers may take appropriate action, including asking someone to leave an activity or excluding them from the conference.
By attending, participants agree to uphold these expectations and help create a positive environment for everyone.
