The Fourth Conference on Hot QCD Matter is scheduled to be held at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati from December 13 to 15, 2026. The Hot QCD Matter conference series was launched at IIT Goa in 2022, followed by IIT Mandi in 2024 and IIT Bhilai in 2025. The conference provides a national platform for researchers and students to discuss recent advances in Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), heavy-ion and high-energy particle collisions, advanced detector development, and related areas of experimental and theoretical high-energy nuclear physics.
Scientific Program and Key Themes
- Jets in hot and dense QCD matter
- Heavy Flavor and Quarkonia
