The data controller for this event is the Sri Lanka Society of Occupational Therapists (SLSOT).

Payment Metadata: Indico tracks registration fee statuses. (Note: Actual financial transactions and card details are handled via secure, external third-party payment gateways and are never stored on this Indico server).
3. How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is processed solely for the following purposes:

Managing your conference registration and issuing entry badges/kits.

Facilitating the peer-review, selection, and scheduling of scientific abstracts.

Communicating vital event updates, schedules, and post-conference feedback surveys via email.

Publishing the official Congress Abstract Book (which will list author names and institutional affiliations alongside accepted abstracts).

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your information is only visible to:

Publicly visible data on the conference website is strictly limited to your name, affiliation, and presentation title if you are a confirmed speaker or contributor in the official timetable.
5. Data Retention
Your data will be stored securely on the Indico platform to maintain an academic record of the 7th SLSOT Congress. You may request the deletion of your user profile or the anonymization of your registration data at any time after the conclusion of the event, provided it does not conflict with statutory financial or academic reporting requirements.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate information, or withdraw your consent for data processing. You can manage and update most of your profile information directly by logging into your Indico account.
