University of Chinese Academy of Sciences
University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a research-intensive university. Originated from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences and with its distinctive education model of integrating research and education, UCAS is featured with its large-size graduate education and a small-size elite undergraduate education. UCAS ranks 5th among global universities in the 2026 Nature Index and rests 1st in Chinese mainland and 10th worldwide in the latest Essential Science Indicators (ESI) university rankings. Southeast University
Southeast University (SEU), located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of six dynasties, is a prestigious university with an outstanding reputation both at home and abroad. As a National Key University administered directly by the Ministry of Education of China and jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, SEU is also designated as a key university under China’s national “Project 985” and “Project 211”. In 2017, SEU was selected as a Class A university for the Construction of World-class Universities in China. Twelve disciplines have been selected for China’s national “Double First Class” construction list, placing SEU 8th among universities nationwide. Transportation
Method A: By Taxi
All of the invited speakers and conference-funded students will stay in the Park Plaza Beijing Science Park (北京丽亭华苑酒店). It takes about 60–90 minutes by taxi from the airports to the hotel and nearby. The taxi fare from the airport to the hotels is about CNY 100–120 (approx. US$15–20), including CNY 10 for the toll fee. We suggest you wait for a taxi at the airport designated taxi station. Please ask for a receipt with the taxi registration number in case you require special assistance when you arrive at the hotel. If someone approaches you and offers to take you to the hotel, don’t take his or her car.
Method B: By Airport Shuttle
Airport shuttle is available at all three terminals of Beijing Capital Airport. Tickets can be purchased at Exit No. 7, Terminal 1; Exit No. 9, Terminal 2; and Exit No. 7, Terminal 3. Please take shuttle No. 5 or Line E to Zhong-Guan-Cun. You may show the instruction below to the driver. The fee is 16 CNY. The earliest shuttle is 6:50 and the latest is 24:00.
Instruction to show the driver: “I’m going to get off at Zhong-Guan-Cun. Please remind me then. 我要在中关村下车，请到时提醒。”
Method C: By Subway

4. Download the Didi App (switch to the English interface).
5. Register (Chinese or international phone number + email).
6. Bind a payment method: go to “Wallet” → “Credit Card” or “PayPal”, then enter card details or log in to PayPal for authorization.
7. Book a ride: enter the destination (supports English or pasted Chinese addresses), select the car type (Economy / Premium, etc.) and confirm the fare.

Registration
The registration desk will be open at the Teaching Bldg., UCAS, Zhong-Guan-Cun Campus, during the following hours:

Presentation
· Section chairs and speakers are expected to arrive in the conference room 10 minutes in advance.
· Laptops with MS PowerPoint will be available in the conference room. Speakers are advised to use the conference computer and copy their presentation PowerPoint in advance.
· If you prefer to use your own computer, please set it up and test it in advance.
· Please post your posters in the Poster Area (outside Rm. S301) on Aug. 20. Each poster is individually numbered. Suggesting size: Height: 120cm, Width: 90cm.
Catering
Lunch and dinner are located on the 4th Floor, Wuke Restaurant (物科餐厅 4 层).

Tea Break
Tea breaks during the summer school will be served outside Rm. S301, Teaching Building. There are numerous cafes and restaurants near UCAS.
