Graz has its own airport (GRZ), which offers direct connections to several European destinations. However, as it is a relatively small airport, many international travelers may find a wider range of flight options to Vienna International Airport (VIE).
From Vienna Airport, Graz can be reached conveniently by both train and bus:
- By train: Vienna Airport has its own railway station with frequent connections to Graz Hauptbahnhof (Graz Hbf). In addition, a direct train departs approximately every two hours. The journey takes about 3 hours.
- By bus: A direct FlixBus service operates between Vienna Airport and Graz Girardigasse. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
