Welcome Address of Vice Chancellor, University of Calcutta

It gives me immense pleasure to extend a warm and cordial welcome to the participants of 6th International Conference on Applications of RadiotraCers and Energetic Beams in Sciences (ARCEBS-6), to be held amidst the serene pastoral beauty of Dooars at Sinclairs Chalsa.

Over the years, the ARCEBS conference series has, established itself as a benchmark platform within the global scientific community. Since its inception in 2004, it has consistently initiated collaborations and innovation across diverse domains of science. Today, as we gear up for ARCEBS-6, we feel proud to host the stage to continue this tradition of excellence. This conference exemplifies inter-disciplinarity at its finest, encompassing frontier research in chemistry, physics, environmental science, biological sciences, archaeology, and beyond using radiotracers and energetic beams.

I am confident that ARCEBS-6 will serve as a pulsating platform for sharing cutting-edge research, nurturing young scientists, and fostering collaborations that will address some of the most demanding scientific challenges of at present. I encourage all participants to actively engage in discussions, exchange ideas freely, and take full advantage of this unique opportunity.

Beyond the academic sessions, I hope you will also find time to appreciate the breathtaking scenery and tranquillity of the Dooars, which I believe will adorn an inspiring environment for creativity. I also extend a warm welcome to all of you to visit University of Calcutta, which is the first modern multidisciplinary university in South Asia.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt welcome to all of you. I wish the conference great success and all participants to gather a memorable experience.
