Description

In this work, we show that effective field theories (EFTs) in de Sitter spacetime generically give rise to divergent series as higher-order terms in the EFT expansion are included, resulting in a progressive loss of precision. We demonstrate how this behavior can be understood within the framework of resurgence theory, and how the information encoded in these divergent series can be systematically exploited to recover precise and non-perturbative physical predictions from the EFT.
