- The venue can be reached by public transport. The closest railway station is Heimbach which is served by the line R21 (Düren-Heimbach). The travel time from Düren to Heimbach is 46 minutes. The train runs hourly.
There is a bus connection from the train station Heimbach directly to the venue (8 minutes bus ride, arrive at bus stop "Eifeler Tor").
You should plan your travel to Heimbach train station by yourself, so that you arrive around noon on the first day. We will have a shuttle bus (8 seats) running between the venue and the train station on the first day. There is also a bus stop right in front of the venue. - Please note that there is NO centrally organised lunch on the arrival day because of the different arrival times (bring your own lunch snack for the arrival day).
- Provided on all days will be coffee breaks, lunch (except arrival day) and dinner. Important: You have to take care of breakfast by yourself. There are plenty of kitchen facilities available in the houses. A small grocery store is on site.
- The accommodations are houses with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms each and a fully equipped kitchen. The assignment of students into houses will be done on the first day.
- For the hands-on sessions, you need your own computer.
