The workshop will take place at the Queen Mary University of London Mile End Campus. The Mile End Campus is located near to the Mile End and Stepney Green tube stations.

Flights London has several airports.  The most convenient connections to the Queen Mary University of London campus are from London Heathrow, London City, and London Gatwick.

  • From London Heathrow: Take the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow, going east toward central London. Almost all Elizabeth Line trains from Heathrow will continue through central London. (Please note that the Heathrow Express is NOT recommended because it only goes as far as Paddington.) Continue on the Elizabeth Line to Whitechapel, then change within the station to the District Line eastbound; go one stop east to Stepney Green.
  • From London City: Typically the fastest route is to take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) to Stratford. At Stratford, change within the station to the Central Line westbound; go one stop west to Mile End.
  • From London Gatwick: Take a Thameslink train to Blackfriars station. (Please note that the Gatwick Express and other trains to London Victoria are NOT recommended; they will take you too far in the wrong direction.). At Blackfriars, change to the District Line eastbound, and go east to Stepney Green.

Rail Travel London has even more rail stations than airports. Please use the TfL route planner to identify the best route from your arrival station to Stepney Green or Mile End.
