Within Nicosia

Public transport within Nicosia is limited to buses. Official information is available on the Cyprus Public Transport (CPT) website. While unofficial, Cyprus By Bus is also used for bus routes and timetables, including for routes between cities. Nicosia bus routes have been added to Google Maps only in the past year, so we advise cross-checking timetables with the the official CPT website.

Taxis are also an option, especially when riding in a group. Indicatively, a taxi from Nicosia centre to the venue at European University of Cyprus (about 3 km) costs about €9 and from the dorms of the University of Cyprus to the European University of Cyprus (about 10 km) costs €15. The Bolt ride-hailing app be used to hire a taxi within Nicosia.
