2. Transport from the airport
Option 1: Taxi / Ride-sharing Service
1. Go to the passenger pickup area outside the terminal.
2. Request a vehicle with the Bolt application or the Uber application.
3. Alternatively, order an official taxi at the electronic terminal inside the arrival hall.
4. Choose the destination:
For the Conference Venue: Strada Mihail Kogalniceanu 1 (Drop-off point: Piata Unirii).
For the Universitas Hotel: Strada Pandurilor 7.
Option 2: Pubic Bus/Tram Service
You can pay for the transit fare (3.5 RON) inside the vehicle with a contactless bank card,
or, alternatively, buy a ticket from the ticket machine at the bus stop.
The specific bus lines for each destinations are presented below:
1. Airport to Main UBB Building
1. Go to the "Aeroport Sud" bus stop outside, to the right of the Airport parking exit.
2. Board the Line 5 bus.
3. Travel 12 stops.
4. Leave the bus at the "Sora" stop.
5. Walk south on Strada Universitatii for 450 meters.
6. Arrive at the intersection with Strada Mihail Kogalniceanu. The UBB Main Building is in front of you.
2. Airport to Universitas Hotel
1. Go to the "Aeroport Sud" bus stop outside, to the right of the Airport parking exit.
2. Board the Line 5 bus.
3. Leave the bus at the "Sora" stop or the "Regionala CFR" stop.
4. Transfer to the Line 24B bus or the Line 9 bus going west.
5. Leave the bus at the "Agronomia" stop or the "Plopilor Sud" stop.
6. Walk south on Strada Pandurilor for 350 meters.
7. Arrive at Strada Pandurilor 7, adjacent to the Iuliu Hatieganu Sports Park.
3. Hotel to UBB Main Building and UBB Casa Universitarilor Restaurant
Note: The UBB Casa Universitarilor restaurant is right near the main building.
1. Walk to the "Plopilor" transit stop.
2. Board Tram 101, Tram 102, or Bus 24B to the city center.
3. Leave the vehicle at the "Memorandumului" stop.
4. Walk east to Piata Unirii, then walk south on Strada Universitatii.
5. Arrive at the UBB Main Building.
Alternatively, you can walk through Central Park directly to the venue.
