Description

The ton-scale PICO-500 experiment is under construction at SNOLAB. This long-anticipated experiment pushes the limits existing bubble chamber technology and sensitivity to WIMP dark matter. We will look at what is possible with this technology, why we are building it, and what results to expect in the near future.
