Description

We present stagTools, an open-source Python package for staggered-quark calculations in lattice QCD. The package provides group-theoretical tools, including irreducible representation subduction and the computation of Clebsch–Gordan coefficients. It further automates the generation of Wick contractions for general n-point staggered correlation functions and provides straightforward numerical evaluation of two-, three-, and four-point contractions. The latter enables direct testing and validation of Wick contraction implementations in high-performance lattice QCD codes such as MILC and GRID, against which the package has been validated.
