Description

The Dark-photons & Axion-Like particles Interferometer (DALI) is a novel haloscope concept designed to search for axions and dark photons above 25 μeV using a large area magnetized phased array and a tunable Fabry–Pérot resonator. A proof-of-principle demonstrator operated at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias has successfully validated the core DALI technologies and produced the first physics quality dark matter results, demonstrating the promise of resonant phased-array detectors for high frequency searches. We present the status and first results of the demonstrator, along with plans for future upgrades that will extend the search to a broader mass range and improve axion and dark photon sensitivities.
