PLATAN is the International Conference Merger of the Poznan Meeting on Lasers and Trapping Devices in Atomic Nuclei Research and the International Conference on Laser Probing. As in previous conferences, PLATAN 2027 will bring together experimental and theoretical researchers and students to share ideas across a range of research areas, including:
  • Tests of fundamental interactions and symmetries using lasers and traps
  • Laser ion sources
  • Precision laser spectroscopy
  • High-precision mass spectrometry
  • Production and spectroscopy of exotic atoms, ions and molecules
  • Trace analysis by nuclear fingerprints
  • Cooling and trapping techniques devoted to exotic ion beams
  • Development and applications of gas catchers, ion guides and gas jets
  • Applications

More information will be provided in due course but in the meantime, we look forward to seeing you all in Manchester!
